It is time to prepare for your weekend at Thalia Getaway!
A well-deserved wind down takes a little preparation, but will give good returns.
What to pack
Take a moment to consider what clothes to pack. At this time of year in Murray Bridge, the nights are cool and the days fine (most of the time). Thalia is well insulated, has reverse cycle air conditioning and a slow combustion wood heater.
The beds have Creswick Woollen Mills Alpaca quilts and electric blankets, so even on the coldest night you will be warm.
Pack your favourite PJs, but do not worry about your bathrobe as these are provided.
Thalia Getaway is rural, so be sure to pack comfy walking shoes and clothes that will keep you warm when out for a stroll, but can be removed in layers as the day warms.
A 41” TV with DVD player is provided so pack your latest DVD’s that you have been meaning to watch, and there is a dock for you iPhone so you can play you favourite music.
Of course a good book to read never goes to waste.
A range of movies, books and board games are provided at Thalia anyway just in case.
Be prepared to turn all technical equipment to flight mode so you can be sure to enjoy your weekend away in our villa without interruptions.
What you’ll enjoy
At Thalia Getaway, we provide a hearty cooked and continental breakfast along with a welcome bottle of wine.
For evening meals, you can eat out in some excellent establishments or buy some local produce to cook in the generous kitchen.
A morning walk to the veggie patch is highly recommended to pick some fresh parsley to go with the eggs. Remember to take some time to have your morning cuppa on the front veranda and watch the blue wrens playing on the lawn.
Prepare your self to slow down, relax, and enjoy all the wonderful things the Murray River region has to offer!
